Today, I had the fortunate experience of celebrating a great Reiki Teacher/Master

My dear loved ones,

Today, I had the fortunate gift of being able to honor a great Reiki Master in a local Portland OR/Vancouver WA Reiki Share group, with some dear and close friends which included Maureen Browning, Reiki Master/Teacher at Clark Community College, Sheena Browning/ Crystal certified teacher/ and daughter of Maureen Browning and 10 other individuals of like mind.

I hope Maureen, that you don’t feel bad about me sharing your beautiful name of Graceful Dear.  Your energy lit up and guided this honoring ceremony of the famous and well-known Reiki Master Vivi who used to teach at Clark Community College Reiki coursework.  Dear Master Vivi passed away recently at the ripe age of 73 I think.  Many of her previous students were present as we celebrated her life with an honoring Reiki Fire Ceremony.  Also in attendance were Knowing Woman, Jo Garceau, Author, Knowing woman, the Journey to the Feminine Soul, Sara Posey, expert Horse trainer, and Horse Reiki Master, Pat Wilson, Owner of Koya Designs  a foremost manufacturer of Herbal remedy infusions.  Other’s present at the ceremony were Steve Bergman, long-time employee of Kaiser Permanente, Linda and her Sister, and a few other students of Reiki Teacher/Master Vivi.  Another person of note in attendance Moxie, a Home caregiver.  My dear friend Maureen aided us in the group to explore and feel the divine energy and guidance of this late Reiki Master Vivi.

I did not know what to expect when I decided to attend this event.  I was pressured by Sara and others to attend.  Maureen this last year is starting a new business called. Three Mirrors Body Mind and Spirit.  Maureen is the granddaughter of my grandmother’s Sister.  My Maternal Grandmother was Mary E. Kies Mills.  Maureen’s Grandmother was Elvira Kies Laplante Isenbek who also passed this last year;  the sister of Mary E. Kies Mills.   These great wise grandmothers were strong in my life.  Maureen used to be the former Administrative Coordinator for Ravenhouse Healing Center in Castle Rock, WA and studied with Grandfather Roy Rachon Wilson, Honorary Spiritual Leader, and Chief of the Cowlitz Indians here in Western Washington State with her former partner Kyle Ward, who together started Ravenhouse Healing Center.

As the stations of life change, and the powers that be come forth in this the 15th year of the New Millennium, I began to wonder where this world is headed.  With the shifting of political power happening at the Federal Level of my homeland, the “home of the brave” the United States of America, and the shifting dynamics of the stock market in these tumultuous times of transformation and revelation, it is clear now that changes are abound.

Every human is being given a new set of rules to follow, and as this new paradigm begins to take form, what will happen can only be determined by trusting in the Universal energies present.  In the last five years, our solar system has been getting closer and closer aligned to Galactic Center, the Black Hole Center of our Milky Way Galaxy.  The last time we were so closely aligned to the Center of our Galaxy was almost 26 millennium ago.  Yes, I believe we are at the first phase of the beginning of the turning of the ages as described by mentor, my former astrological teacher and friend Daniel Giamario, founder and creative inspiration of Shamanic Astrology Mystery School.

We are so far now into the energies and dynamics of the “Aquarian Age” according to the soothsayers of the last 2 millennium, with the fear and change of the Book of Revelations rapidly approaching from our precious  Christian bible and the many other sources of written work regarding this turning of the ages. We can only hope to find a precious place of rest and relaxation without fear as the dynamics of this new age begin to emerge in these tumultuous times of what I believe as our human evolution. As the world changed on 9/11/2001 a contributing factor for President George W. Bush unilateral decision to initiate without cause the second war on Iraq and Afghanistan resulting in upwards of three to four thousand American Soldiers lost on a spiritual crusade solely based on imaginary Weapons of Mass Destruction(WMD’s) created by the Bush Presidential Administration I began to wonder who is truly in charge yet we the other 99 % of human population slowly and slowly giving away more and more of our personal power to the ruling class of the 1 % of world population who do not have their brothers and sisters of the human race best interests at heart I wonder what is to follow with this human species experiment of godlike proportions.

After so many priceless lives were lost in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the onslaught of the worst stock market crash since the depression crash in 1929, resulting from the modern Bush Administration Financial policies in 2008 humanity is changing. Potentially caused by irresponsible loose and unregulated loan policies of our own U.S. Federal Reserve Board,  world banks were given unprecedented authority to process high risk consumer home loans for families and individuals who should have never been eligible based on credit risk to receive these unregulated house mortgage loans, the U.S. Economy fill out from under us.

Are we ready for more of these challenges?  It is important to evaluate the changes of western civilization over the course of the last 50 years of my lifetime, with regards to Social and Racial Reform, Women’s suffrage, Blacks getting the right to vote, primary and secondary education schools becoming racially integrated, multiple assassinations throughout the crises of the sixties and early seventies, and the development of Affirmative Action Policies. These new social policies are now present in almost every state of the Union, and wiith the passage of laws by the U.S. Supreme court and other courts accepting Same-Sex Marriage, we welcome as a species new approaches to relationship and bonding.  Sexual preference is no longer a factor in determining whether two individuals in Love should be legally married.  We also had to deal with the depth and struggles of the AIDS epidemic worldwide.  The fact of the matter is that change is unavoidable.

This is what I believe results from such a paradigmatic shift of consciousness, in the Evolution of our Species.  I welcome the new Humanity, for I am one of them.  Instead of calling ourselves homo sapiens sapiens, maybe it is time to accept our deeper genetic DNA evolutionary step and call ourselves, homo universalis.  Simply, Homo Universalis is defined as:  “A man who has broad intellectual interests and is accomplished in areas of both the arts and the sciences” found at http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Homo+universalis  This is a citation from the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language 5th ed. copyright 2011.  The language used in this definition is clearly bias, so I would offer a change and use the world Human in place of man.  Man is generally the common name of our species, but as all of my  readers know we are actually of the genome Homo sapiens sapiens.  Always keep that in mind when reading my posts.

Because language as a whole is so tricky, and because of the vast usage of the English language, I think it is also important to make some serious changes in how we use our language.  Changes are beginning but we still have a long way to go for language and communication reform.  We need to find ways to use language without all the references to sex that is present today when we communicate.  Language needs to become sexless in its use, or non-gender based.

Since I am on the subject of gender, it is also important to recognize that at the biological level of the origins of our species in the womb; at conception we are essentially female.  Many of you have studied the steps of sexual reproduction.  At the cellular level when  spermatozoa penetrates the membranes of the ovum, from conception until our emergence out of the womb, a biological process called, meiosis occurs.  All humans emerge from an undifferentiated zygote or what we call the female ovum.  The Y chromosome in the male spermatozoon carries a single gene (SRY) which contributes to XY Sex Determination System in the process of meiosis or sexual reproduction according to this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XY_sex-determination_system.

In terms of brain physiology, there are several studies that have been considered. Please review the studies that best suit your needs.  The study I felt most applicable in this discussion is located at this link:  http://www.webmd.com/balance/features/how-male-female-brains-differ?page=3  I want to emphasize the significance of the last couple paragraphs of this article regarding brain physiology differences between male and female brains.

Gender-Based Skills Overlap and Complement

Recent studies that highlight sex-associated brain differences may lead us to believe that men and women have little in common upstairs. That’s not the case. “Men and women do have lots of brain areas that are the same,” Geary tells WebMD. Moreover, members of both sexes excel at skills that are commonly labeled gender specific. “All of these things have overlapping distributions. There are many women with better-than-average spatial skills, and men with good writing skills,” Geary says.

Some researchers believe that nurturing one’s brain can enhance what nature has provided. Consider, for instance, the general superiority of males’ spatial abilities. “There’s a lot of evidence that we build up our brain’s representation of space by moving through it,” Denckla tells WebMD. As anyone who spends a significant time around children knows, boys tend to get a lot more practice “moving through space” — chasing a ball, for instance — than girls do. “My hypothesis is that we could possibly erase this difference if we pushed girls out into the exploratory mode,” Denckla says. She predicts that as more and more girls engage in sports traditionally reserved for boys, like soccer, the data on spatial ability will show fewer disparities between females and males.

Others believe brain variations between sexes are for the best. “Most of these differences are complementary. They increase the chances of males and females joining together. It helps the whole species,” Gur says.
