I am so pleased that so many are interested in what I have to share at this blog. I hope I am able to continue to provide valuable perspectives and varying points of view on my blog. It is what makes this site run, is your continued support, now if only I could get some paid services from all you interested parties. That would make my day. The focus of this blog is of course primarily for sharing points of view and open forum for those interested in talking about factually based debate focused on efficient and clear problem solving applications in search of a utopia of global cooperation and diplomacy. I may be an American, but my greater motivation is to be a Universal Citizen and Human with all my brothers, sisters, and transgendered individuals here on Planet Earth. I predict what happens this year may significantly change the course of human affairs for the next generations. So we can choose to make decision based on providing a world for our children today, and for the next seven generations. I never quite understood the deeper meaning proposed and offered by Grand Master of Shamanic Asrology Mystery School the man himself, now living in Manila, Phillipines my mentor and old friend Daniel Giamario. Even though he and I don’t always mesh in the way two successful sensitive and aware men should sometimes, I value his continued research and explorations of the burgeoning field of Shamanic Astrology. I have to let you all know, Daniel and I don’t always get along as two headstrong, knowledgeable and aware men should, and I think that might be related to our personal Astrological Charts. He may not fully see it in the way that I hope to impart and perhaps make my own personal imprint on regarding the underlying structures and teachings of Daniels theoretically and observable based hypotheses and conclusions regarding our deeper connections to our Universe, and planetary solar system. Let me briefly explain why I have come to this particularly unique and perhaps confrontational point of view with the deeper connection of two powerful and spiritually/shamanically motivated men, who love Astrology, and Astronomy. Let’s put Daniel’s and my chart side by side to compare and analyze the similarities and differences between his and my charts. I hope Daniel that you won’t take offense to my logical applications using your system for comparing our charts and thus our masculine motivators. It is only meant as a kind and inspiring discussion between two large minds in an attempt to perhaps mend some of our differences, even though you might not feel like there is much to discuss about our interactions with each other. Take this as a friendly open forum for exploring the deeper hidden mysteries of your System of Shamanic Astrology.
Let’s begin… In Daniels chart, his moon is in Capricorn in the 4th house, He comes from the Capricorn Mystery School and seeks to move towards the new school of Libra which is where his ascendant or rising sign is. His past storyline is about letting go of a powerful strong initiatory motivation factor of knowledge, Mastery the Elder archetype, Lawgiver, The Practical business man, the Exiled Scapegoat because he has “graduated” from that lineage or old school and is ready to enact the mysteries and exploration of his New School or current life intent of Libra.
Daniel, as you know this is your lineage and is formed and founded on the archetype of your Moon with the your Taurus job according to the position of your south node. As a young man, you felt required to be utilizing the Taurus job archetype in the Capricorn School of your Lineage. With a major in Capricorn and a Taurus job which translates as sensualism, hedonism, with a focus on enjoying and participating in all aspects of life. This kind of overemphasis on potential rigidity, gluttony, laziness, is not a good place for such a predominantly masterful lineage of Capricorn. How does one work through the potential issues that they may encounter with this school? And as you clearly explained the Taurus job and school is foreign territory for generally post-modernized men who are learning to let go of old patriarchal control mechanisms in search of achieving their life’s purposes. We Taurean job people also have a hard time resisting any sort of changes, especially if it potentially could disprove our masculine bull-headed natures. It can of course lead men like you and me into an undiagnosed form of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Wouldn’t you agree? And suppose our Venus or aphrodite nature is hidden or generally discouraged by the society at large, how does a man cope with such repressive dynamics in his world denying his deeper Venusian Lover Nature. For women, it is much more acceptable to get locked into the habit patterns of these potentially self-destructive behaviors because society encourages them to mother and seduce their lovers and companion as a matter of common sense. What do you think about that?
According to the script as described in the Shamanic Astrology Handbook authored by you. Your storyline begins with the completion of the old patterns of your past life intent or school you graduated from upon taking a new form as a baby, in your mother’s womb and starting into your new work and studies in the Libran school of current life intent. Yet as you mentioned repeatably multiple times in your teachings and courses I participated in that, we all must learn to release and let go of our old storylines found in the lineage and adopt a new way of seeing and experiencing life, yet as a teacher and facilitator, I observed in your behavior and leadership attempts how difficult this can be as a leader and facilitator of your grand work. And to add to our social interactions with each other, your new Job in the Libran School is directed towards Scorpio, whereas, in my case, it is just the opposite, I come from the Scorpionic School with the Scorpionic job. Do you think from an observational witness perspective that you and I may have encountered these conflicting natures in our everyday interactions with each other, whether we were conscious of it or unconscious of it in our interactions in your classroom.
I discovered how difficult it can be to also renounce our authoritarian natures defined in part in such power oriented lineages that we were born into. I come from the Scorpio Moon Lineage, with the Scorpio Job and you come from authoritarian Capricorn School Moon Lineage, and Taurean Job as described above. Do you think at some level we inadvertently, unconsciously or other triggered each others buttons at a deep transcendental level of power and authority according primarily to our habitually bound similarly authoritarian based lineages? I wonder.
As we continue through the storyline, it is imperative that we also take into account the next phase of our scriptural storyline, which is of course, the antithesis. If we have blockage in our personality or psychic development to acknowledge the nature and tools of the planetary archetypal energies that predominate in our lives, life may appear to be extremely challenging and crisis oriented. For in this phase we encounter our personal planets, which include Mars, for the masculine motivations, Venus for our Feminine motivations, Mercury, for the thinking tool, and the Sun who provides the energetic tools or fuel to achieve life purpose and perhaps fulfillment as we shift from our old lineage based school to our new ascendant based school. Mars, Venus, and Mercury may at times appear hidden in the application towards our new school and life purpose. In your case your Venusian energies may be veiled by the Piscean archetypes found in your twelfth house, while at the same time my Martian energies are also veiled by the same Piscean archetypes. How interesting? Don’t you think?
Were we ever meant to get along in the manner we dreamed of, as mentor and mentee, in the school? Is that why perhaps you never gave me the opportunity to finish my training and rather discouraged me from finishing my certification? Who knows? But let’s continue.
You know my time is ripe for exploration as I encounter my chironic return? Do you remember how yours went? I am glad you added a treatise about the Chironic Initiation in your revised and updated version of the Shamanic Astrology Handbook.
If these tools offered by Mercury, Mars, Venus, are blocked due to Life circumstances we might forget how important they can and should be in achieving the goals set forth unconsciously or consciously when we venture forth into a new school of exploratory transcendental learning processes.
Just as a matter of notation, in your chart, your Mars is in Scorpio in the 3rd house, your Venus is in Virgo conjunct your Saturn in the 12th house, even by your standards this energy might be hard to uncover or unravel in the pursuit of achieving your life purpose as set forth by your Libran new school, and your Mercury is conjunct your South Node in Scorpio and the second house, supporting the job motivations of the Taurean archetypal tools for success. In my case, my Mars, and Mercury are conjunct in the twelfth house perhaps channeling the Piscean archetypal tools to achieve my life purpose, and my Venus is guess what in my Second house channeling the Taurean Archetypal tools necessary to achieve my life purpose. How interesting, my Venusian focus is forthcoming for defining and developing my Taurus Job, for my New School as you so humbly encouraged yet nonetheless, have moderate difficulty processing and working with my pragmatic Gemini Psychopompous new School’s archetypal nature, that I have chosen to explore and work with this time around. I could tell when I took courses with you how distracting my Geminian nature was to you. I even remember hearing from you or from mom how discouraging it was for you to work with my radical Geminian New School? Do you have a similar understanding? My personal nature you were so humbly encouraging me to explore and learn, has always been seen and experienced as conflicting and distracting while you were teaching. I think you might have felt that my pragmatism and outspoken nature, was being put out solely as a way to sabotage your leadership and authority in your workshops, when I was just acting on your encouragement to explore my Geminian Nature, and wanted to add to and/or support your initial conclusions, as I am trying to do now, with this posting on my personal blog and web site.
You know I am staking my reputation and status, to possibly come to a more suitable acknowledgement and appreciation for all that you have done to make SAMS so successful using the techniques and processes set forth by you with regards to the practice of Shamanic Astrology.. Please understand that I am not blogging to undermine your authority with regards to the Shamanic Astrology Mystery School. My hope is to open a dialogue and discussion with you regarding these wonderful teachings as a concerned responsible man who values your feedback and input.
So to continue. My lineage based on my moon position and my former job as Scorpio Master of the Scorpio Mystery school. My south node is in my eighth house, and my moon is in my sixth house in the sign of Scorpio making me a Scorpio Scorpio lineage and job role, that I too, must learn to renounce in search of my new School of Gemini determined by my Gemini Ascendant fulfilling the role of the Taurus Job. The only archetype I have not yet fully explained according to the Shamanic Astrology Workbook that serves to structure and define my lineage is Scorpio. In your book, The Scorpio School investigates the deepest most powerful part of the emotional, and physical realms and mastering them. This means “learning to respond to the deepest desires without attachment to results,Edgewalking with Passion and Intensity, Tantric Intimacy, Life Force Energy as the Path to God. As the Master of my destiny, fully in conrol of my powerful will, I have graduated from this school, and thus am the Master of its teachings, with a focus on bringing Spirit Into Matter, for experiencing the deepest most powerful feelings in the physical realm and mastering them as an end in itself. Death, Rebirth, Regeneration, and the Underworld dimension form the foundations of my deepest most fulfilling desires, in order to develop personal boundaries, and a capacity to “discover what turns you on”. WOW pretty Powerful stuff, but Power is useless and ineffective without constant humility and determined focus, I can say that I have a very good sense of what this truly, and deeply means to me. If I am not mistaken, your new job is to explore these dimensions in your life, am I right? Because you have your north node in the eighth house, where my south node was when I transmutated into this body, for nine months of gestation in my mothers’ womb. Maybe we have some more exchanges to explore with regards to the foundational aspects of your teachings. What do you think? However, I love women,so lets you and I explore these natures with our vast expanded minds and see what we might still be able to learn from each other, me as mentee to your mentor. Let’s not break the bonds we have developed due to errors made in our pasts due to potential issues beyond our control when I studied with and under you for almost seven years. Let’s drop the hatchet on our previous personality ego-based failings and rekindle our friendship as we search together for solutions.
To continue, phase two the antithesis. My Mars, and Mercury are conjunct my Jupiter in the Piscean twelfth house. Mars, represents the aspects of my personal animus, and Venus according to your teachings reflects the inner aspects of my personal Anima. In my case Mars in in the sign of Taurus, which would suggest that I am one of the men, that you described: to once again quote the handbook, regarding the archetype of Taurus for men, you state that; “Healthy and authentic Taurus masculine qualities are similar to those found in the female gender, but when mixed with additional yang energies in a man it produces an exquisite balance of giving and receiving, of action and receptivity. This means that healthy Taurus for men is not lazy, indulgent, or slothful. Rather, when healthy these are men with fully developed capacities for intimacy and savoring life at its deepest levels. They are true artists and epicures. Thanks Daniel for your great complements, and affirmation for being a man in his fully potent capacity. I really appreciate that. If I am not mistaken you too, have to deal with these kind of energies and sexual dynamics but in your case the focus is on releasing these desires in search of exploring the deeper hidden powers and dynamics of Scorpio i just described in your new job for you Libran new School. Do you think we might be able to exchange ideas and/or experiences related to understanding and exploring these dynamics, in a plutonic friendship without confrontation, or conflict?
Amazingly, your Mercury is also in the 2nd house in Scorpio conjunct your south node. How fascinating? it seems like you and I have some old karmic bonds that we might need to evaluate and release and also work through? Do you think it can be done, in a supportive nonoffensive way in a workshop with other participants also? And then to add to that configuration on your chart, Mars, and Chiron are also in your second house. Such valuable tools. Wow, as the old sayings say, a Mind is truly a horrible thing to waste. Wouldn’t you agree, friend? Now in my case my Mercury is in Taurus, conjunct my Jupiter, and Mars in my twelfth house. Mercury doesn’t generally work well in Taurus, but you and I have learned to find resolution. From what I remember with regards to your Mercury cycle teachings, your Mercury, is of the psychopomp form and mine is found on the other side of the Mercury cycle, like Cayelin’s Mercury. Wow, our minds may be working once again at odds with each other, yet, we are able to cope and deal with each other’s apparently weird idiosyncrasies. that is truly bizarre, don’t you think, I guess that is what is to be expected with Mercury anyway. How much you and I seem to be bound at levels beyond comprehension? No wonder why I have found you so intriguing. And Guess what, my Venus the archetypal energy dynamic of my personal anima is in my second house, conjunct my north node focused on developing and supporting those Taurean qualities we men have such difficulty dealing with. weird? and Your Venus representing your Anima is where? in the twelfth house conjunct Saturn? Like you I also have a nasty yet powerful Saturn complex with my Moon, and Sun squaring into Saturn, opposing my Uranus Pluto conjunction in the 4th house. More on that later. My next blog will explore the last phase of the script. My Venus is in the sign of Cancer, and your Venus is in the sign of Virgo. On the level of signs and archetypes, my Venus in its sign location has not always been a great supportive influence in my chart overall, but She provides that currently needed initiative I require to achieve my supposed goals set forth according to the teachings of Shamanic Astrology. In your case it seems you have initiatory planetary archetypal energies in droves through your Libran ascendant, your saturn and Venus Conjunction etcetera. BTW. for those reading my blog, the Libran archetype for the new School that Daniel has is focused on Harmony and fulfilling relationships. According to Daniel’s workbook, the Libran school is primarily focused on developing what Daniel refers to as conscious equal partnership, that honors each person as having equal value as to what they should be bringing to the relationship. It is important to understand as Daniel reports, that “equal” in this case does not mean the “same” rather each person has different skills, wisdom, insight, etc, that enhances the relational experience. He goes on to say that this is non-hierarchical, meaning no one is in charge of the relationship or is the primary authority in the relationship. When healthy, there is an equal balance of importance that each person contributes to the relationship exchange. Daniel does this also apply to the teacher – student or mentor-mentee relationship? Can any of us live up to such high standards for relationship building and development? Daniel, what do you think. My Followers and Subscribers, what are your thoughts? If you have not yet taken courses exploring Daniel’s teaching I would highly recommend him. For those who have interacted with Daniel in SAMS, Daniel, don’t take this too seriously…. do you think Daniel does a good job of maintaining equal partnership as he is describing here? Personally, i think there are times when he is truly seeking to be a man, and teacher in relationship in an effective way, but like any human who seeks to explore his/her inner nature, as it relates to the topic of relationship is bound to make mistakes. When interacting with anyone, at a level of intensity and intimacy, that Daniel is striving to excel and explore in his given new School of Libran practicality we should not hold ourselves to overly high standards. we are all bound to make stupid mistakes but that is the nature of humanity and cooperation. Let’s give Daniel a hand for exploring these qualities with such dedication, but bare with him when he unintentionally falters.
Now with as much Humility and courtesy I can successfully lasso in my own personal and spiritual pursuits, let’s explore my own Ascendant and New School and Job. I have a Gemini rising, but whether or not Daniel values the location or position of my Sun, with humility and a willingness to learn and explore myself, my Sun, the fuel for all my endeavors is also in Gemini. According to Daniel, We Geminis are a horse of a different color, without successful interactions with our weird archtypal types, Daniel may appear to be somewhat lacking in how he teaches and works with the Geminian archetype. NEWS BROADCASTS: GEMINIS ARE TRULY PRETTY WEIRD AND THEY MIGHT APPEAR TO VIBRATE ON A DIFFERENT LEVEL THAN MOST HUMANS. We really are made up of crazy wisdom, many of us have found ourselves to be contradictors. We are the clowns of the zodiac who are there to lighten the seriousness of stress-related issues. We are there to break the ice, to show you how foolish your ideas might be at any given moment. We are the genies in the bottle, who may hide there for milleniums before it is time to once again show how unserious our world is. Our focus is on illuminating the cosmic joke of existence. We are ruled by the nature of the analytic mind, and its forms of communication. we are the entire spectrum of logical and mental interconnectedness. We form the magical connection to the divine muse. We explore the realities behind rationality. Our focus is go beyond linear processes with a focus and knowing and fulfilling the Law, and then to go beyond it to a place of total freedom. we seek to fully know that the laws of nature do not affect them. we are truly free of rules. the current life intent for Gemini is about exploring creative self-expression as it relates to serving spiritual awareness. Our training is about learning how to be the trickster and doing what is least expected of them inj subtle ways that do not provoke confrontation but rather expand awareness about how the divine is operating. We are like the Fool archetype at the edge of the precipice ready to take a step off the cliff with the hope and expectation that matter will mysteriously appear or disappear in service to their radical natures. A powerful image that is reflective of us, is when Indiana Jones, is forced to undergo those severe potentially fatal test in search of the Holy Grail. In one scene near the end of the movie Indiana Jones, and the last Crusade; Sean Connery, Harrison Ford’s hermit father on the sacred quest of the Knight templars in search of the Holy Grail, has been shot, and the only way to save him is for Indiana Jones to undergo and succeed in passing the tests to reach the great eternal Knight who is now destined to serve as Guardian of the Sacred Grail, until someone comes to replace him so that he may forego his responsibilities of protecting the Sacred Grail an at last die and be taken on to heaven. Indie must get a gulp of the Miraculuous Healing Water of Life in the sacred goblet of Christ, to save his dad who will most definitely die from the gunshot wound inflicted upon him to force Indie to undergo the final trials in the Caves of the Holy Grail. One of the test Indie must undergo and survive is to cross a precipice in order to reach the chamber where the sacred waters are kept in the everlasting fountain of life. Indi has no clue that there is a walkway from his side of the precipice to the chamber. Indie decides to think outside of the box, and throws sand across the precipice to recognize, that the rainbow cave colors have concealed the walkway to cross the precipice with such precision of Light and stone to create an illusion that there is no way to cross and Indie would be forced to let his father pass after being shot in cold blood by his captors as well as be executed himself should he fail to retrieve the Holy Grail with Holy Healing waters.
Gemini is the contrary archetype of modern native american spiritual teachings. Believe Geminis really do have a lot of this kind of crazy wisdom nature, and need to be honored for their abilities, even though we might appear to be disruptive or distracting in a workshop like Daniel has offered for many years. I can see these patterns in my behavior and interactions with others, but I will always try and find a common ground to philosophize and support a group climate of open communication that might not always comfortable in similar group interactions which Daniel seems to be particularly resistant towards when he is offering his workshop. My intentions are never meant to cause disorder, or discomfort. In fact most of my efforts in workshops in the context of learning and getting valuable information with people like Daniel are never meant to undermine authority or disrupt the flow of information. In the case of Daniel’s teachings, I think much of what may have occurred for him from me, is primarily self-induced unconscious projections towards someone without cause or ill but I am also aware that my nature as a Gemini is not easy for many, but it is only a few times when I have felt unwelcome or disruptive around authority figures like Daniel in extremely intense workshops like those I have experienced with Daniel, and SAMS.
That is a simple metaphor in describing Geminian nature according to Daniel.
